Santorini is full of archaeological finds, of which the most significant are the Minoan City in Akrotiri and the ancient ruins of the City of Thera. Scattered throughout Santorini you can find historical churches, monasteries and Venetian castles such as the Gizi building in Fira, which has been converted into a cultural center. You should also visit the Archaeological, Folklore and Maritime Museums.
