Linaria Port, Skyros by Skyros Port Fund
Linaria is the port of Skyros island. It is amphitheatrically built, scenic, simple, with bright white colors, reminding of Aegean. It is the second largest community after Skyros Town and has many cafes and taverns, souvenir shops, but also hotels where you can stay. (evia-guide.gr)
A northbound 10km-long asphalt road connects Linaria with Chora (the main town), and to Palamari Bronze Age fortified settlement of 2800 B.C. and thereon the airport, while at the junction to Pefkos a newly paved road may take you to the lace-like western coast. The southbound road passing by the wide Kalamitsa bay (3Km) leads to Triss Boukeys bay where one may visit the grave of Rupert Brook, the poet.
